Students honored for creations in art and writing

Each year, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards spotlight the creativity and abilities of middle and high school students throughout the country. Students in Chesterfield County Public Schools this year achieved 50 Gold Keys, 64 Silver Keys and 80 honorable mentions. Gold Key winners go on to national competition; national winners will be announced in March.

Writing awards
Students in Chesterfield County Public Schools won eight Gold Keys, 14 Silver Keys and 12 honorable mentions in the writing section of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
