Annual Spirit 76 Ride draws riders from across region to participate

Cyclists had a perfect day last Saturday for the Spirit 76 Ride hosted by CCHASM.  The ride, either a 76-mile ride or a 40-mile ride left the parking lot of Chester Baptist Church and spanned Chesterfield County from the east to almost the western border and back again.  The cyclists rode through rolling wooded hills, past horse farms, through gentle countryside and the southern tip of Pocahontas State Forest.

Proceeds for the event go to CCHASM, a 501(c)(3) assisting area residents with emergency needs for over 24 years.

The ride was fully supported with SAG Wagons, rest stops and food. Sponsors for the ride were Agee’s Bicycles, Anytime Fitness, Martin’s, Northrop Grumman and Papa John’s.
CCHASM supports area residents in Chesterfield and Tri-cities area.
