Two Ecoff educators earn National Board Cetification

Two members of Ecoff Elementary School’s staff have achieved National Board Certification, teacher Jeanne Hensel said. Shannon Magne, a third grade teacher, and Jennifer Grossnickle, a guidance counselor, successfully completed the voluntary National Board Certification assessment program.

Man used stolen credit card in January

The Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs the community’s help to catch an unknown man who used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases at Target at 4601 Commonwealth Parkway on Friday, Jan. 22.

Police Blotter: April 7, 2010

STRATHMORE RD 4/01 Parkway Garden Apartments. The victim returned home to find a known suspect outside her residence. She then observed her previously deadbolted front door unlocked and items inside the residence rummaged through. When she confronted the suspect, he admitted to entering the residence and going through her belongings. Entry was gained through a bedroom window.

Murals placed at Community High

Last spring, Chesterfield Community High School held a contest for a school slogan, according to information from Library Media Specialist Carol DeMasi. The winning choice was “Eagle Pride, Soar High,” designed by 2009 senior Raymeka White.

Knight’s trio chosen for this summer’s VHSCA All-Star Classic

“It’s been a wonderful senior year. Winning states in football and then coming so close to doing the same in basketball has been special. I look forward to carrying our successes to the next level at William and Mary.”
