June 23 wasn’t the first time Chester native Michael Dudley put himself in danger to help someone. Dudley, an 18-year-old Thomas Dale High School graduate, once saw a woman’s purse get stolen. With little thought, he chased down and tackled the purse snatcher.
The Seaboard Coast Line Railroad line bisects Chesterfield’s Bermuda District from north to south, cutting through a number of communities along the way. Ronald Brown, Jr., son of Cynthia and Ronald Brown, Sr., obtained the rank of Eagle Scout on June 23. Ronald, 18, is a 2010 graduate of Thomas Dale High School. He is a member of Troop 2877, which is sponsored by Chester Presbyterian Church.
