Two unidentified men shot and attempted to rob a construction worker in the 2700 block of Executive Drive at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, according to information from Chesterfield County Police.
On Thursday, Nov. 11, more than 1,200 Elizabeth Davis Middle School students, faculty and staff gathered on the front lawn of the school to commemorate Veterans Day with a brief flag raising ceremony.
It was business as usual for the L.C. Bird Skyhawks Friday, as they finished their season at a perfect 10-0, defeating Midlothian by a score of 41-0 in Dominion District football action. The win secured their seat as the top seed in the Division 6 regional playoffs. A major milestone was also reached, as Bird’s Yahkee Johnson rushed for 174 yards against Midlothian, bringing his season total to 2,001 yards. The team also employed the stifling defense Bird fans have been accustomed to all season.

EXTER MILL RD 11/05 Entry was forced to the residence through a rear door, where damage was found. Property was taken.
BUCCANEER DR 11/06 Harbour East Village. Suspects forced entry through a rear door of the residence and took several items.
RUFFIN MILL RD 11/06 Hill Phoenix Corp. Witnesses saw a subject attempting to steal scrap metal from bins outside of the business.
