Last week, Gov. Bob McDonnell appointed Chesterfield Del. Sam Nixon to serve as chief information officer of the Virginia Information Technology Agency, according to a press release from the governor’s office. With General Assembly passage of McDonnell’s legislation to increase transparency and accountability in the agency, the chief information officer will now report directly to the governor, through the Secretary of Technology, for the first time.

Dr. David Neff, PharmD, M.D., and Dr. Adam Kaul, M.D., will be joining the staff at The Crossings at Ironbridge, a premier assisted living community in Chester, as attending physician and medical director, respectively, in March, according to information from the facility.
