Chesterfield signed on, by way of a resolution, to endorse the mission of the Sustainable Transportation Initiative for Richmond (STIR) during the Board of Supervisors most recent meeting.
William D. Dupler, who had been serving as Chesterfield County’s Interim Deputy County Administrator for Community Development, was named to the post permanently at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting on April 27.

Police investigators say 13-year-old Devin Hawkins was struck in the back by a stray bullet while running from the scene of a gang related shooting at the Broadwater apartment complex. Three men have been rounded up and charged in connection with the murder or gang related activity.
