‘Success’ students deliver dinner

As part of the Success Program Community Outreach at L.C. Bird, 30 Success Program students donated their money to purchase and deliver dinner to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Richmond.

Landry receives honors designation

Matthew R. Landry of Chester has been named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll at the University of Tennessee at Martin. To be eligible for Chancellor’s Honor Roll recognition at UT Martin, a student must take at least 12 hours of credit (pass-fail courses are not included) and achieve a 3.2 (B) grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.

Area resident wins Pamplin Leader Award

Aimee Michelle Hahn has been selected as the Virginia Tech 2012 Pamplin Leader Award Winner for Matoaca High School. She was selected based on her outstanding academic achievement and her commitment to leadership and service. Her parents are Dr. Randall and Karen Hahn of Chesterfield.

Mississippi College School of Law, in Jackson, Miss., indicated they are proud to announce that David Ostwinkle, of Chesterfield, recently graduated with a juris doctorate. Mr. Ostwinkle is the son of Louis Ostwinkle and Linda Ross of Chesterfield.
