Seven Chesterfield County Public Schools alumni were recently honored by the Chesterfield Public Education Foundation for their outstanding accomplishments and achievements.

Recently, her love and passion for the game, along with her focus on academics, Ka’lia Johnson after she signed the letter of intent with Duke.gave her reason to celebrate, as, surrounded by family, friends and mentors, she signed a letter of intent to play Division-I basketball for Duke University next winter.

Next month at Carver Middle School, area residents can experience more than dinner and a show – they can get a taste of the music, dance and culture of a time long passed. On Dec. 16 and 17, Carver Middle School’s performing arts, visual arts and practical arts departments will come together to present a Madrigal Dinner. Each performance will take place at 7 p.m.; admission is $12 and tickets will only be sold in advance.
