Public meeting for Falling Creek Historical Park property acquisition on Sept. 5

Dorothy A. Jaeckle, member of the Board of Supervisors for the Bermuda District, and Mr. Dale Patton, Planning Commissioner for the Bermuda District, are inviting the public to attend a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Bensley Park Community Center, 2900 Drewry’s Bluff Rd.

CUPCAKE WARS: Broadwater residents gear up for back-to-school with community event

Clarke House saved for now by Preservation Committee

Chester has lost a lot of historic structures over the years and the log cabin at 4111 West Hundred Rd. is the latest. Another historic house in the Chester area is also being threatened by progress – the Clarke House on Centralia Road.
